What is a lifeku?

A lifeku is a haiku about daily life. For those who are unfamiliar with haiku, it is a form of Japanese poetry usually about nature, "profound," and formatted in 3 lines of 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and 5 syllables. Feel free to check out some famous haikus if you still don't get it.

im sure the skin would peel off the mentos while it ran for the hills. i often wonder how long human flesh has to decay in one's mouth for that smell to occur. i hear that for some poor bastards, it occurs three seconds after they finished brushing their teeth.

actually the mento had been living comfortably in the side pocket of my bag for a few months so I'm pretty sure it's skin had already rubbed off.
